This is one of Simpsons classic options from an iconic traditional brush maker. The hair is 3-band 'super' badger that is attractive with excellent backbone, soft tips with some scrub. Precisely what I wanted as one who face lathers hard soaps! Out of the box, there was a bit of 'badger funk' that dissipated after a few lathers and the brush has lost very few hairs. So how does this one perform compared to other Simpsons options? In terms of density and backbone, I rank it between my very...

We have three different synthetic hair to make shaving brush. Synthetic hair is tangibly soft, extremely long-lasting and somewhat less sensitive in everyday use as water drips of them and they dry faster than natural hair. Excellent for lathering soaps and creams.

This is a wonderful horse hair brush that is a special edition by Vie-Long. The bristles have enough backbone to break down stubborn soaps yet soft enough to feel luxurious. The handle is a faux horn with green and black tones. Fit for a Lord.

Overall, an outstanding product. The soap is a luxurious experience, with maximum protection of skin, a decent scent and really outstanding lather capabilities. The only aspect of this soap I would change would be the scent- it's not that is bad, but it is totally forgettable. The soap according to the company is "nutmeg, ginger, cinnamon, and bergamot notes, and emerges into a perfect blend of coriander and cypress with subtle lavender and geranium undertones. It finishes with a base...

The handle on the eShave Silvertip Badger brush is probably its most distinguishing feature - long, slender and substantial, it lends a quality feel to the brush. It also makes the proportions seem a little odd, but the knot is a fairly normal size - 21mm knot, with 51mm loft and a fan-shape after blooming. This brush comes in three different grades of bristles, with the Silvertip being the top of the line. I'd compare the eShave Silvertip to Rooney's Silvertip in terms of both tip...
