I received this brush as a gift and started using it and breaking it in. Every time I used, it shed more and more hair, so I was worried that this won't stop, and it didn't. The handle is big and comfortable, and I'm sure that the #26 synthetic version is very good, but sadly this one never stop shedding, so I decided to remove the knot, and order a Maggard Razors 2 band badger knot for it. It should work perfectly, and with the diameter of 26mm, it will make a very nice brush.
