Beautiful brushes
@Gryffindor they look great. Have you used the Gelousy knot much? Can you provide some impressions?
I finally decided to drop a 24mm badger into my Rubberset! I love this thing.
I just found this thread. After a year and a half of wet shaving and using a multitude of brushes, I've come the the realization that I really like brushes 24mm and smaller. Just recently, I've been on the hunt, purchasing vintage Ever-Ready, Certifyd, Rubberset and others with the intention of restoring and using. I've lately been on a search for a 400, but they aren't easy to come by! And what they want for one that needs a bunch of work is incredibly expensive, and I've been outbid 4 times now on the bay. And ones that are already restored are beyond my means. I've been going through this thread some, and seen some of your pics, and they are beautiful. How are you all coming across your finds?
Incredible! Beautiful work. What did you do to get that beautiful finish on those? You will find one Sir!!!
I was lucky with mine they was all Bin price Buy It Now, I did restore all but one so now I have a Rubberset 400 in a Badger, Boar, Horse, & a Synthetic and a original, and love each one as they was a labour of love.
