That soap is great!Semogue SOC Mistura today. Such a fantastic brush. The knot is as good as most high end badgers IMO.
First shave with Areffa soap (excellent soap and AS from Ukraine!) and first use of my new Captain‘s Choice copper bowl.

Having a blast with DecemBOAR so far (and nice to see another 10077 in the mix!). Really second guessing my decision to go almost all in on badger brushes. Considering thinning the herd a bit.

In the spirit of DecemBOAR I've treated myself to a couple of early Christmas presents. I usually prefer bigger boars, but these two will be used on my smaller soaps that I want to keep for longer (C&S and Martin De Candre travel soaps)
A Semogue Galahad (22mm knot, 55mm loft) and a Culmak Knight (19mm knot, 54mm loft)

Nice combo to start the day. The TOBS Grapefruit seems to have an authentic scent.
It's a wonderful scent. I'm not a real big fan of creams though (except for travel). I think when traveling they stand up better to changing water chemistry. I love Soap Commander's Inspiration. It is a Japanese Grapefruit and it's wonderful!

One more 23-24mm Omega for the books, this time with a wood handle. A typically fine Omega knot, but this brush doesn't speak to me aesthetically or ergonomically. None the less the Treet Platinum and Phoenx & Beau make for a great shave.
Fourth use of my Yaqi Green Viper this morning. I did not notice any boar smell today. It was never bad, and the lather would always drown it out, but it seems to be gone for good.

It is!That soap is great!
The Discoverer soap could be a bit stronger scented but the AS if fairly strong. the soap itself performs incredibly well. Only one use, but so far I am a huge fan… regardless of where it is made.
Looking forward to trying Time Dragon today.

Only on the warm days. Yes, I have some. The last two days were record setters at 82F. I’m good with it too. Next week will be cold, jacket weather at 50-ish. Those days will get badgers
