I usually have the local NPR station on in the living room -- just loud enough to hear the morning news, but not enough to interfere with the sounds of my razor.
My son most the time saying"daddy face" which means I want some lather on my face so I give him some. He's 2.Then he wants his razor,no blade. Then my wife wants to tell me about some darn shoes or purse. Then my daughter wants to tell me about school. I love those days.
I've got a 13-month-old, and I shave after a shower when she's in bed, so the silence punctuated by the swish of the razor through the beard is just the ticket.
My first wetshave was in silence and I enjoyed it for the most part. I like the sound of the brush lathering, and the razor cutting. I think if I were to add music, I would add a slow trumpet jazz.
