First Shark shave ever today. I won't judge a blade on the first shave, so I'll save my assessment for Wednesday. A simple two pass shave today, but no blood.

No blood?!?!?

@BigJ : me thinks he didn't use enuff pressure....

Soap: Arko
Razor: Gillette NEW Long Comb
Blade: Shark Platinum
Brush: Beagle
Aftershave: Witch Hazel / Lilac Vegetal

BLOOOODD

First go with a Platinum in general, and chose the Gillette NEW which I know very well. 4 weepers and after a 3rd pass it wasn't up to par with my usual DFS standard. Pretty wicked aftershave burn as well. Willing to experiment more with this blade though as it actually felt pretty decent. I feel like I can make it work.

Brush: Jayaruh Synthetic
Razor: Merkur Progress on 3
Soap: Proraso Green (Tub)
Blade: Shark SS (2)

DFS+ on 3 passes & clean-up buffing. No drama, just a smooth, comfortable shave.
Here you are braggin' again.... No wonder @shavefan quit likin' ya.
At least you still got me puttin' up with ya...You'll be bleedin' before the week is out my friend!

To quote Will Sonnet: "No brag, just fact."

Is the strawberry/lemonade to hide the blood in the water? If so, good luck. @BigJ told me Sharks can smell one drop of blood from New York to Soho!

True story doggone!

Believe it or not, no blood. I didn't even cut myself while modifying the blade!

Not sure if they have sharks in Italy, but if they do I hope they are as gentle and smooth as this Italian shave was:

Pre: Professor green
Razor: 61’ Fatboy setting 2
Blade: Shark SS
Brush: Semogue 630 boar
Cream: Prosaso green
Post: ADP Colonia Club splash
Scent: ADP Colonia Club EDC

There was a delay in the Arko shipping, should be coming today to get on board tomorrow.

Let me know if it don't get there. I've been breeding Arko awhile now, and the War Department has been sniffin' around my inventory, if you catch my drift...

Hahaha there was NO blood shed with this friendly shark. Just smooth sailing. Very smooth and effortless shave, even on my sensitive dome skin. So far, out of the 3 variations, the stainless steel seem to be the best for me.

BLOOD IN THE WATER!!! Great shave equipment, nitwit at the tiller: two weepers.

Instead of taking my usual 3 passes, I tried to "save time" with two passes and buffing. Buffing, for me, is like swimming with the chum - not the best idea.

Not a bad shave overall, though - cold water rinse closed the weepers, and the post-shave feel is great - smooth and soothed. No hard feelings against the Shark.

>> SHARK WEEK 2021 <<

Preshave: frigid tap water, PAA The Cube 2.0
Brush: Stirling finest badger fan 24/50
Soap: Ariana and Evans ~ The Undersea
Razor: Karve CB Brass Open Comb "D-plate"
Blade: Shark Super Stainless (2)
Post shave: frigid tap water, Nivea After Shave Fluid.

Another bloodless and irritation free shave with the SSS. Smooth and efficient, three passes - almost BBS.

Just two shaves in the books with the Super Stainless, but it seems to be a nice blade. The blade works flawless and drama free. Quite sharp but smooth - right from the start I liked them way better than the Shark Platinums.

Enjoy the Shark Week, y'all!
