Razors: Freshly honed Wade and Butcher Bow. It's a bit lighter than I prefer (a hair under 6/8, and half hollow) but it shaves very nicely so, for now, it's a keeper.

Wostenholm 8/8 1/4 hollow. Rescaled in Buckeye burl. It's huge. It's smooth. It's fantastic!


SC: AlRaz's The Bomb in Calypso. God, I love my Bombs! Best cream on the market as far as I'm concerned

Brush: 26mm Buckeye Burl. TGN silvertip.

Strop: My freshly built Kangaroo strop. End caps and D-Rings from Tony Miller, Fabric from SRD (new Herringbone cotton... It's really good!) and some Kangaroo leather from an aussie friend. Fantastic!

Results: WTGx2. DFS. Saving some whiskers for another set of scales incoming from ClassicShaving. I've got a Wostenholm Pipe to hone and test.

A sublime shave again today. Glen did a phenomenal job restoring this razor; I couldn't believe it was the same one I sent him when I opened it. It has a heavy, stiff feel to it that really took care of the beard growth!

The view is one of the courtyards by my condominium. I love this place because you can go out and enjoy a quiet moment despite being in a heavily populated area like Northern Virginia/Washington D.C...

Its dead, it finally died mid way through the shave but I carried on for a CCS, now this Plat was not a "Swede" but a Russian Plat, not bad, so thats 8 & 9 shaves out of Russian Plats and I have a heavy beard and can shave twice a day, so this isa blade I must stock up on. The cheapo brush also performed well [trying to brake it in to use as a travel brush].
