2022 Shave Purchase Sabbatical - Shave Trek Season 2

Q3 check in - still in
Still in. Today's shave. Very nice. Nice and smooth. 2 days growth. I decided to do a 2 pass straight shave today for the first time in a looooong time. I'm regaining my confidence so thought I would try again. Glad I did.

#50 still in. Expecting smooth sailing with no asteroid fields for the last leg of our mission. Keep up the good work gents

No temptations so far. Between a new baby and a new job, I have no time to think about shaving. Actually, I have to be as quick as possible in the morning, so I switched to a DE and a boar brush. Since I am probably abusing my brush, I will skip using my exception (badger brush). After all, my beloved Simpsons 59 resides in the cabinet these days.
All that being said, I still love my shaves. Simple, economical, effective. I'm using a couple of sticks currently, switching between Tabac and Speick, that were usually reserved for travelling.
I killed a tub of Cella during the summer, plus a generous sample of SV tundra artica that a friend gave me last year. I also used 2/3rds of a D.R.Harris puck but, I 've had enough of it and will probably PIF the rest (or relegate it to shower duties). I might succeed in killing an ASL as well until the end of the year. My Pitralon Classic and my Speick are running low.

#29 - I'm out gents. Bought myself a new shaving bowl as a pick me up. My first Captain's Choice bowl and no regrets here.
