That MWF has additives that irritate me during and after my shave…
Pay attention!!! Don’t let the razor slide sideways. Lesson learned. Forgotten. Learned again...
You've obviously not yet mastered the "Tech slide",
I love their Jermyn Street most of all. Too bad it’s also the most expensive.Any TOBS cream I have tried works very well for me. Just got their #50 and tried it, have used 8 others and this one works as well. I face lather, go for a ‘yogurt’ consistency lather. Whatever they do their product works for me....YMMV
That sounds like "rub off, rub on."That washing my face with leftover lather after I’ve used the alum block causes the alum to roll up into little beads that then wash away with the lather. It leaves my skin clean of any chemicals that were used during the shave and readies it for the hyaluronic acid and moisturizer.
Yes Grasshopper. It is very much like that. That sounds like "rub off, rub on."

LMK how it goes for you.Trying this tomorrow ..... usually I do this the other way ‘round
i learned that shave sticks >>> pucks.
It is amazing how hard PdP is. I could still read the raised lettering on both of my pucks after about a dozen shaves.Pre de Provence is a hard long lasting soap. I’ve hardly dented the puck, been using it for weeks.
Superlather. Add about three drops of glycerin and you have Uberlather. There is a post on the Sharpologist about it.Adding a pea size dot Proraso Green cream in the bottom of bowl along with my hard soap makes a great lather.
Or just look it up on B&B's Wiki. UberlatherSuperlather. Add about three drops of glycerin and you have Uberlather. There is a post on the Sharpologist about it.
