Your close-ups have such great definition, Marco. How do you like that cream? Not really a cream person myself, but always looking out for good products, soaps or otherwise.

Thank you so much, David. Musgo Real is simply amazing: wonderful scent and great qualities for a VERY, VERY "old school barbershop" cream. I mostly use soaps as you well know, but Musgo, once in a while, is something I need to lather up.

This setup is entirely Portuguese, well, almost really.
Veleiro Shaving Cream, a wonderful cream with a musk/marine scent
Semogue 2040HD, a massive super dense slivertip badger brush, whips lather like no other
Gebr. Weyersberg «Corneta» 15/16'' straight razor, there isn't a Portuguese made straight razors, but this is the most Portuguese razor we have. Made in Solingen, Germany, specially for the Portuguese and Brazilian markets under the name «Corneta»
Musgo Real Aftershave doesn't need any intro, worldwide known for its excelence in creams and fragrances
444 Aftershave balm, one of the oldest and most popular balms here in Portugal. Specially made for dry and sensitive skins (like mine) and with a menthol kick

This shaving cream is very inexpensive - and very easy to find in my hometown. Albeit it is not as good as Confiança or Claus Porto creams, it is a fine shaving cream, and delivers a very close, confortable shave.
But this cream holds a sentimental value to me. It is produced by Nally, an old portuguese soap factory (founded in 1928) that is situated in Lisbon, right next to my old university. And that makes me remember those good old times.

The Semogue 2000 is an impressive brush, one of my favourite ones, by Semogue. All and all, a most excellent shave, topped by the refreshing touch of the "O Melhor" ASB.

My friends, there are simply too many high quality shots to quote them all... Very well done, Gentlemen!

Robert, I finally managed to get a BBS on my cheeks but chin and neck are definite problem areas at the moment, even getting close. Have a lovely cut on the side of my neck, misjudging the length of the blade. I'll get there though!

Results: A common problem of having a collection of blades is despite never getting bored and having variety to choose from, you won't get to use the same blade for awhile. This certainly holds true of this Genco. She was restored by our very own Glen. He did a complete job on this beauty, including blackening the tang to the original classic version. She is an incredible shaver and she certainly played her part true to form today

. The SRD/AOS Lavender combo was just as equally incredible and überlicious. My face is CBS, sporting a BIG smile, and wife is very happy with this outcome.

TGIF...Have a SENSATIONAL Friday and end of the week gentlemen

It's also a common problem with soaps and creams too, Robert Love the scales on that razor!
