SOTD Wednesday evening, 26 November

Pre: Occams Crushed Lime Pre-Shave Soap | Razor: Schick Injector L1 | Blade: Schick Super Stainless |Brush: Vie-Long Peleon Horsehair

Soap: Cella | Post: Bluebeard's Revenge Post-Shave Balm & T.N.Dickinson's Witch Hazel | AS: Brut Original

First shave with an injector razor, using a recently acquired NOS Schick L1 and NOS Schick Super Stainless blades.
The first blade out of the cassette, interestingly, wouldn't cut butter; the second blade in the pack was better.
After two passes, I ended up with a BBS shave, slightly closer than what I achieve with my 40's Tech. I'm sure it will improve with practice.

Pretty good shave even if I did manage to nick my jawline a tiny bit. Not sure if I like what I've done with the editing of the picture though.

"Giving Thanks" SOTD 11/26/2014:

My Loving Wife, for whom I am ever thankful, plays 'Vanna' in the insert to my SOTD photo. This is most fitting as she, knowing 1) how I suffered using an (argh) electric face snatcher, and 2) that I had been a wet shaver in the past (albeit with a cartridge razor), suggested that I try traditional wet shaving with a DE; and she has supported me and kept me rational through bouts of AD and we have enjoyed the shave. Thanks and boundless love to Glorious Gloria! Thanks also to all the help and advice from all the folks here at B&B.
