To you, and others who might hate shaving soap sticks (Like me), Arko, is luckely a pretty soft soap, so it's easy to add to a bowl :) Check out the following video, i've been doing that for years :)

Have a nice day / evening, gentlemen, and gentletts :)

Feeling sharp is a state of mind. Looking sharp takes work.

pre: hot shower, bluebeards revenge preshave oil
Soap: mastro miche artiglio
Brush: omega 49 boar /yaqi 24mm purple haze
Razor: blackland blackbird
Blade: rapira #3
Post: cold water, brut AS, Barts balm Ben lomond

DFS achieved with 3 weepers.

Started off as usual and decided to bow lather with the omega 49 boar - not gonna lie, after using yaqi synths mainly, I don’t like this brush that much anymore - seems to be nearly a pain to use at this moment . Whipped up an okay lather but after first pass decided to switch to my yaqi 24mm - much preferred choice.

Blackbird again demanded some more respect, leaving me with 3 weepers. I do wonder whether using Rockwell 6s R4 made me used to slightly different angle and now I’m trying to use the same angle on blackbird and that’s what causes me to make errors . Maybe - will see. Blade performed well - still sharp with nearly non existent tugging - but still decommissioned on 3rd go. Probably with new blade I’ll try newly acquired ikon b1 slant and see how much of a different beast that is!

finished off with using one styptic match to my chin (had a bit of acne that got sliced lol) and finishing off with Brut followed by sample generously sent over by Bart. Out of 3 of them sent over- this scent definitely is my favourite

3 passes done with nice manly smelling aftershave balm!

Tue 30th SE SOTD
Soap Colonel Conk Lime
Brush Yaqi 24mm Green Mink
Razor Yaqi AC Brass
Blade Shick Proline 2nd
Post & Aftershaves Ice Water + Thayers + Hyaluronic + Clubman Gents Gin
Awesome lather from this underrated soap. Thickly creamy and very slick...nice scent just below mild.
Shave with razor paired with the blade was good, smooth and comfortable enough but not as silky smooth as the feather guarded blade. Still good efficiency results after 3passes for a mostly BBS finish. Good aftershaves.
