I was looking through my humidor that was converted to store my shaving blades and spare razors..... and came across my Schick injector Canadian E5 I bought 2yrs ago and decided that was going to be my Sunday shave and it performed Ok with a reasonable shave.
Razor : Schick injector E5 Canadian 1937 pat razor(rare Black handle)
Blade : SChick (2)
Soap: Razorock Lavender
Brush: Razorock Plissoft
Preshave: Wet the face with a warm wash cloth 40 sec X 2 + Aloe vera gel
Post shave : Alum block + cold water rinse
Post shave : FINE fresh vetiver + witch hazel + Nivea balm
Results : CCS,DFS,BBS + Alum block indicates no irritation=
Have some great shaves!

Blade : GEM Personna SS PTFE (4)
Soap : Razorock Lavender
Brush : Razorock Noir 400-excellent
Preshave: wet the face + Aloe vera gel
Post shave: Alum block + rinse with cold water
Post shave:Italian barber Amici splash + Nivea balm
Results : CCS,DFS,BBS + Alum block indicates not much irritation=
For folks who have no user manuals when they bought a used Gem and some other useful information.

New razor added to my Schick injector family of great shaving razors the i2 Hydro-magic and took it out for it's 1st trail run and it did not disappoint me.
Razor: Schick injector i2 Hydro-magic -Mfg 1954-57
Blade: Schick (4)
Soap : Barrister & Mann Seville
Brush: Razorock Noir 400
Preshave: wet the face & apply a little Aloe vera gel
Post shave: Alum + cold water rinse
Post shave: Proraso green lotion AS + witch hazel & pea size amount of Nivea balm
Results: CCS,DFS,BBb-Alum block indicated some neck irritation(new razor)=

That's a good run on a GEM blade, The Gem Junior bar is one of my favorite razors.
