Safety Razor Acquisition Thread.

Came across a cased fat boy in an antique store Wednesday. Date code G1. Initially the adjustment plate didn't move very well, but after some dish soap soaks, everything moves freely and works.

Had my first shave with it this morning. Got a good shave. It may take a bit to get used to the weight.

Because I can never get enough of learning how much I overpaid for my Fatboy...

Small addition to my Brit vintage collection. 3-piece Souplex which appears to have been used very little. Chrome plated as far as I can tell and in great shape. Don’t know anything about this brand, appears to have been in the lower price tier. Needs to Google a bit. But nice all the same.

Just repainted the numbers and the black band. Turned out pretty decent, I think.

Nice post-War Tech. Given the contract handle, it's probably a '46. Can you do me a favor and see if a magnet will stick to the baseplate?
