Need help Lathering Martin de Candre

I've read all the hype about MdC and went ahead and ordered a tub. As everyone says, great packaging but expensive shipping. Unfortunately, no matter what I try, i cannot get it to lather. I've tried my badgers, vintage boars and horsehair. Wet brushes, dry brushes, but nothing works. Here are the pics:

Here's a pic with three brushes. I tried at least 30 seconds of loading up to 2 mins and you can see there's simply no lather generated.

And here it is after a couple of minutes of palm lathering:

Maybe the rest of you could share the secrets to getting lather out of this. Does anyone actually shave with this stuff???

Looks like you bought a used tub.
Probably was refilled with ivory soap.

MdC always lathers better when I wear mine.
