Can Great Lather be Generated from Any Reasonable Quality Shaving Soap or Cream?

Oh I am not talking Vito soft in a deodorant twist container. Think Arko. That is more like it.

From the one stick of ARKO along with Jikoryen that I’ve tried it seems like they’re more suited for the push up style. The Jikoryen is a little softer than the ARKO to me but the ARKO stick I had could just have been an older one lost some of the moisture from it

theres alot of possible hogwash online about a 3 ingredient shave cream you can make at home. Its coconut oil, shea butter, and mixed together with olive oil or canola oil.

Im not exactly stupid, nor am i capable of doing long division in my head. but I am pretty much able to say "not going to make usable lather for me" and walk away.

The issue is overall, what defines usable lather? SOMEONE feels the trumper hard soaps are usable lather, as they keep selling them. Someone keeps buying that scalpmaster stuff, or they would stop making it.

If you go by "meringue" lather, not all soaps will work. IF you use "runny marco lather" almost anything will work.
