Decided to grate one of my Palmolive sticks in to a cup the other night. followed the tutorial on here, damped it down then added a few drops of water and left it overnight.
Decided to try it out, so added a tiny drop of the Palmolive cream to it then loaded the brush up for Palmolive soap/cream combo.
WOW - amazing shave, loads of lather, easily enough for 3 passes on my cheapo Wilkinson Sword brush and it felt great. Left the face for 5 mins after the shave and really didn't feel the need for any blam on afterwards.
considering the soap stick are 50p in the Uk and cream £1.80 odd then I can see myself buying another couple of sticks and adding it ro the mix I did and going forward with this. Such a great comfortable shave the mix of cream and soap was just fantastic.
sometimes these great bargains just come along and put a HUGE smile on your face.
Added to mention the shave itself was with an R41/Crown combo
