What's new

Anyone else stuck on vintage video game consoles?

I love my PS3

But man I do miss the old-school video gaming.

In fact, I used to have a modded PS2 and a DVD that had ALL the SNES games :thumbup1::thumbup1::thumbup1:

So simple (no 10000000 button combos :001_huh:), fun, addictive

Some video games today are so realistic they can put you into depression :bored:

Plus, with the cartridges, no loading time

I'm thinking of buying an old SNES

BUT when it comes to sport simulations, NOTHING beats a new-gen console

NHL 10 on PS3 is just amazing :001_cool:

Old Skool all the way ;) I am an Atari player from since the early days and also love NES.

I still have my original Atari 2600 console that I got in 1982 and a couple hundred games but most of my Atari gaming nowadays is done on the Stella Emulator

Stella can do anything my original console does plus allows me to play new Homebrew Atari games in development which haven't saw a cartridge release AND it's right here on my desktop so convenience factor wins :001_smile

I also have a Famiclone that I am fond of with a multi-cart of a couple hundred early Japanese Nintendo games.

I'm going to have pull out my SNES and Super 8 adapter.
The Super 8 was great in allowing NES to play on the SNES.

I almost bought the Tristar 64 when I saw it but never did. Why I really didn't need it and they wanted to much for it.
