I’m out.
1st time in a long long time I bought something.
Maybe 4 or 5 years.
I'm curious what got you. Although, 4-5 pucks of Tabac would be hard to beat.

After "maybe 4 or 5 years" of no purchases, I say...I had decided to stop shaving with a straight razor only, knew what DE razor I wanted, saw a deal that was perfect, and made the deal.
I love it when a plan comes together.
Never hurts to look good. I am also a daily shaver if only because I like it.I shave every day just in case I need to be presentable. I enjoy being clean-shaven and dressed appropriately whenever I leave my home. While cleaning up post-shave today, my wife told me a longtime (30+ years) friend and her husband (the friend's husband, not my wife's) were in town for a medical appointment. They were headed back home today and wanted to have lunch. I took a quick shower and for the first time in over a year, I put on a shirt with buttons (I wasn't about to squander the opportunity). I just returned home a few minutes ago. Not one person in the restaurant commented on the closeness of my shave. I was a bit disappointed in the lack of appreciation for my efforts with my shaving gear, but I was able to spend some quality time with a couple of dear friends.
Crewman #13 still in and with a much greater appreciation for life...

That's a GREAT idea! I have already set aside some blades for a PIF-per-month for B&B rookies next year, but an entire shave kit would be even better. I may actually get through my soap stash after allI've been enjoying my "austerity program".
<SNIP>
I need to make plans to give some things away. Maybe some shave kits for new people. We'll see.
That is okay as long as he does not share the gifts with you.For a clarification, If I buy a Maggard Gift Card for a friend, am I still in. He did me a big favor and I would like to repay him. I will not be getting anything out of this but satisfaction.
