I have more than 16 Techs starting with the Pre-War Tech. But none of them has the aluminium bottom plate. So I finally got one. 1950s English Tech. They made me an offer I couldn't resist [4 EUR before shipping]. Pretty decent condition.
Nice score, Congrats.Gentlemen, I might have found my Grail vintage piece and consider myself DONE!
Many thanks @Northstonehill I hope I didn’t plunder...

+1There is no such thing as "done".
Dear Gents,
I found this gillette french Federal set. the razor is in very good conditions and comes with both the patent of 1920 and the written other patents pending.
under the comb you can see the same written "importe des etats unis d'amerique" that is stamped on the inner liner. there is also a strange g in d stamp with a sort of diamond inside that i've never seen before if not in the same set presented on mrrazor.
ciao,
andy

Welcome to the madhouse Dean.Brand new here and to DE shaving. Started off with a Parker 96r as a Christmas gift, found it rough especially with the learning curve. So I promptly got a muhle r41 and I’ve not had any cuts past 3 or 4 shaves.
Of course I gravitated towards getting a vintage one recently, so after much back and forth considering of what to get I scored a feather portable hi razor no 200-1 from the 70’s
Nope. You didn't score anything if you don't show us a photo.Brand new here and to DE shaving. Started off with a Parker 96r as a Christmas gift, found it rough especially with the learning curve. So I promptly got a muhle r41 and I’ve not had any cuts past 3 or 4 shaves.
