Whisky in the lather?

Hey guys.
I've heard people talk about putting oils in their lather. Then, I noticed that my Macallan whisky is rather oily. Can you tell where this is going?
The lather (Truefit & Hill ultimate comfort) ended up having a faint smell of whisky. It seemed rather slick, but once on my face, I couldnt really tell if there was a difference. Guess I'm not experienced/sensisitve enough... There was a very slight burn on my skin, but not enough to cause discomfort.
Has anybody else tried fooling around with extra ingredients in their lather? What kind of experiences did you end up having?

Edit: Hahaha! Oh man... "Whiskey in the jar" I didn't even see it at first :D

Glycerine as an additive in a bowl lather. Was nice.

I'd rather drink the whisky than put it on my face. It's bad enough we waste good rum in AS...

I´ve heared that a few people use "Listerine" as Aftershave...I haven´t (and i will not) try it,but it seems to work.Maybe we could give it a go with Vodka...

...So first you call Macallan's a "whiskey" then you don't drink it?? As a 1/2 Scots- and Irishman I'm appalled. You sir should forfeit your SCOTCH to me. Immediately. The only acceptable mixes of scotch are drop(s) of distilled spring water, cold stones or Drambuie.

Geez...

Cheers,

M.

Is it really oil in the whiskey? I've heard that they sometimes put glycerin into spirits (for added "mouth feel"). I've no idea. I've never distilled anything so really wouldn't know.
