Half mile pool swim last evening. Weather is forcing a rest day today. Absolutely surrounded by thunderstorms, and the rain is just starting now...

This week, 4500 yds swimming over 3 workouts. I also hit my initial goal weight of 200 lbs, having lost 10 lbs this year. My target goal weight is 175, but I’m going to tackle them in bites. 195, you’re next.

My last entry in this thread before moving to the Old Fogies on my 50th next week.

1800 yard swim
4x450 yds Free

Down to 199 lbs. First time below 200 in 4 years.

Turn 38 on August 3rd. I am 5'9 and weigh 250. I just feel awful about my body. Under 200 by the time I'm 40 is the goal, with ideal weight at 165-185. Struggling looking for a way to get started.

I recommend The Obesity Code by Dr. Jason Fung to tackle nutrition and daily exercise. The “seven minute workout” is an easy, no excuse way to start your fitness journey.
