What to do with a DMT Dia-sharp EF?

I received a 1200 grit Dia-sharp as a gift from my amazing wife. I feel bad because I really wanted the course 325 grit version. Does it server a particularly useful purpose for something, or should I just return it?
I was wanting a course one for lapping a coti.

If unused I would return/exchange it of a 220,325, or 600. If you only plan on the one I would go 325.

If you do use it to lap the coti, do it underwater / under running water. If you let a slurry build up it will remove the diamond from the plate.

It is way too fine for use on a coticule.

Thanks for the advise. I will probably have it returned and exchanged for a 325. I don't think I have a need for a dedicated bevel setter with only two razors to keep sharp for myself. Cheers!
