I love Toyota, and Tundras even moreso! As for me, I'm in a 2010 Camry, but I was very VERY close to saying "screw it" and going with a Tundra. In love with the truck, but not the gas mileage. The Camry suits my needs, but every man has his wants

Ended up with the Camry namely due to a lack of credit, but my one year of dealing with that particular dealership is coming up (read: far better credit!) and I'm seriously thinking about upgrading if the monthly payment is reasonable. If I can't get the Tundra I want, I may even be willing to settle for a Highlander or 4Runner :biggrin1:

My personal rides are a '96 BMW 318ti with about 1/4M miles and going strong and an '01 Harley Davidson SuperGlide (FDX).

Thanx for your reply, support and for sharing!

The Mrs. got her wish and I love this truck just the same. Millage could be better, but we have a all-purpose vehicle...a truck with luxury! :yesnod:

Count, you went from a Suzuki to a Tundra? That's a huge jump! Congrats!

I'm driving a 2012 Camry right now, and really want a truck. It seems like if you wait and shop around, you can get a Tundra for less than a Tacoma. I think it's time for me to get into a big truck.

I'm fortunate enough to have a company vehicle to drive; right now I have a 2013 Ford Escape SEL. It's a nice little car. I don't pay for gas and I get a new one about every two years. Our other family vehicle (my wife's primary car) is a 2002 Jeep Liberty. Very nice to have when the midwest blizzards hit.

A sad but telling commentary, you have to get 10+ replies down before we find someone supporting an American enterprise, but I'm sure we can all go forward cutting each others' hair for at least a year or so ..

Mine is a Ford Escape, built in Kansas City, the engine in old Cleve-town, by American workers .. what profits there may be go to Michigan, rather than Japan or Germany.. but I guess those countries need the money too .. so keep on sending your money over ..
My truck was made in Louisville KY.

2012 Jeep Liberty Sport, Dark Cherry red, Westin Brush guard, Reese Towpower trailer hitch. 3.7 liter gasoline engine, 5-speed auto tranny, selectable 4-wheel drive, body-on-frame construction, 26/23 highway/city mpg. License Plate: BADMEDC. Upgraded from my beloved 1994 Chevy Blazer, AKA "Dirty Gerty". I needed a new car, since Gerty finally bit the bullet after 19 years and 250000 miles of loving flogging. The Jeep was used, but only had 5000 miles on it. For 19,400, it was a good deal. I didn't want one of the new crossover SUV's (they look like minivans, and I HATE minivans), and I often need 4-wheel to get to work. The Jeep just sang to me- It looks like the bastard child of the old Cherokee sports and a 4-door Wrangler, and despite being a recent model year, it's a brutish little machine. My, do I love it. Now, if I can just keep SWMBO from branding it with a cutesy nickname...
