I smell like a Christmas pudding
An unusual boxed Jade East set containing aftershave and 'a mans cologne'. This is an early example, before it was marketed by Boots in the UK, and still made by Swank Inc. in New York who launched it in 1964. This is typical of the oriental scents of the period such as Hai Karate and Tai Winds; the cologne is especially nice. There appears to be two empty spaces inside the box, does anyone know what they contained?

I'm a Baili fan. I have their BT131 razor which is my second favorite SB razor... and I like all of their blades that I've tried.

I recently discovered that they now produce a stainless steel razor — the B3. Although it's a DC (strictly against my razor religion) I decided to order it, as reading their description, they consider each side to be a different razor (so basically two single-edge razors in one).

The handle, at 97mm, is way longer than my preferred 75mm length... but it feels good so I'll give it a try.

I hope that wasn't TMI.

Anyway, the baby arrived today:

I'll just be using the Open Comb side. I'm looking forward to my first shave with it THIS EVENING.*

* And obviously hope that I'm not disappointed.

Yesterday while I was browsing the local car boot sale. I took my usual look into the boxes of junk under the expectation that it will be one of the 99 times out of 100 that they will contain nothing but junk. To my surprise I discovered this little gem.

The guy who sold it obviously views it as just a bit of junk, as he sold it for only 50 pence. I have purchased this as a bit of a restoration project. Does anyone know anything about restoring these things? Any hints tips etc?
The outside is panel beating/polish/plating or just polish. The inside is a house of horrors, under the fuzz is rusty [sometimes VERY rusty] stamped thin steel, it gently pry's out with a blunt round curved spatula type tool to reveal its hidden horrors :crying: then you make your choices.
