Well, it happened to me. My beloved SLOC head is stripped.

Luckily, I have two. I was definitely one of those that didn't believe this could ever happen.

I always use light machine oil for thread lubrication so hopefully will have the threads on my razors last longer. My razors are dismantled daily for cleaning {hard water issues} so the oil should help; well it won't hurt either to lightly lubricate once a fortnight or so.
