Vintage Blade Cream

I received a sample of the VB lavender cream recently and loved the feel and light scent of it. I swapped part of my sample with a friend for some of his TOBS avocado and we both preferred the slicker VB cream. That surprised me since my friend has been a long time user of TOBS creams. Any other users of the VB creams that prefer it? How are the other scents?

Who makes it for VB? They say it's made in the US.

Some say their soap is the same as the T&H soap, but what about the cream?

The ingredients and packaging actually look similar to the Classic Shaving brand shave cream. From reading the ingredients I would expect it to be good quality stuff. Unfortunately, there is an EO blend in even the unscented cream so I will probably not be getting any.

I saw that review. That's what made me try the sample. After trying a second sample, which was also nice, slick lather, I ordered bowls of Sandalwood, Lavender and Rose. They should be here today. Lathering has been my biggest problem up until now. With my Rooney brush, the VB creams feel decadent and although I use a bowl, I'm doing longer face lathering with it. I've gotten the best shaves since I started.
