Swing State Political Ads

I don't want this to be a discussion about Democrat vs Republican, as the conversation can get heated very quickly.
I live in Ohio and every third commercial on T.V. is political. I don't ever remember the ads having started so early and being shown so often, and it has been this way for quite some time. I don't watch that much T.V. but I for one will be glad when the election is over and normal programming returns. How is it in the other swing states?

They are on quite often here in California as well. Nowhere near what you are probably inundated with in Ohio though......

We get plenty of them in Floriduh.

Get a Nerf gun that shoots those darts with suction cup tips and blast away whenever they come on...it helps, I promise.

I was tired of them three months ago. If anyone uses one or all of these ad's to make their decision, Then I suggest we seriously consider a voter qualification test.

On the west coast of Florida the ads are plentiful and very negative. Plus, the robo calls are endless.

Here in New York the adds are not in full swing yet. When they come I watch net flix and play xbox till its over. Most people have their minds made up long before the election. These adds always seemed to be a waste of money and time even in swing states

Move to Oklahoma, 77 counties in the state and they only vote one way which means we never ever ever see, hear, or deal with any political ad or person unless it's some local yocal asking to be a county water commissioner or something like that.

+1 Thats probably why they don't show too many adds here in NY . Whats the point the city in particular always votes the same way,

No kidding. It's really nice since we don't know what any national ads look like, we never see yard signs or get phone calls. All the local candidates can't afford such expenses so they do the town hall meetings, newspaper ads and flyers at establishments. Just as it should be in my opinion.

Both parties have amassed much, much more money for this presidential campaign than any past campaign. At this point, it looks like both will be concentrating on eight states, bringing blessed relief to the other 42. But if you live in Florida, NH, Ohio, etc., they have bought so much TV time that the auto dealers and rug sellers are worried about their businesses. It's a crazy world.

Agree with Charlie, the commercials are usually full of slant and useless as they don't give you facts

The curse of the battleground states. Here in Pennsylvania, between the ads on TV and the robocalls, I feel like moving to New Jersey.
