I was in Tokyo last week and decided to pick up some Feathers. In addition to the well-known hi-stainless/platinum ones, I found packs of carbon steel blades at half the price (248 yen vs. 525 yen for ten). Black, with no markings whatever. Like a fool, I bought five packs before trying them out. Folks - they are the worst, dullest I have ever encountered - completely unusable. I can't imagine why anyone would shave with these. Maybe they are meant to be used for something else.

They are the sharpest blade right behind Feather! The two are the quintessential BBS deliveries!
I must have used the wrong Dorcos.
Maybe not. They are my favorite, but man are the reviews harsh. I have ST-300's from WCS. I think I like them more than my Feathers as I always seem to get a nick with the Feather as the blade becomes dull.
