"Super freezy" cream?

Hi guys, 'ain't been on in a while:) 'Wonder if anyone can give me a little advice here - I've become a total "menthol head" since using Proraso, and want to try some other cooling creams; I want something like ice - which one, Ingrams or Dettol? Or is there another comparable that I haven't heard of? I've read they're both really powerful coolers; of course, I still want gorgeous lather, too:) Any thoughts? I'd really appreciate it. Thanks!

Haven't tried Dettol, but Ingrams should fit the bill. I'm less of a menthol head, but when I get the urge, Ingrams delivers.

+1 The Ingrams has a very nice cooling effect. I have also heard good things about Godrej Menthol Mist but I have not experienced it first hand.

Thanks guys, I was leaning toward the Ingram, from all I've read. And pmast, it's nice to see another Tom's fan - I love the stuff, 'just lookin' for somethin' colder:)

You could start your shave with some Proraso pre/post to start the cooling effect while you create lather.

and finish with Lucky Tiger Vanishing Cream. It has so much Menthol that it actually smells like Vicks. It's awesome.

Godrej Menthol Mist will freeze your face off! It contains lanolin too, and provides an excellent shave.

mytimebathandbody.com -- order the menthol at "10". This'll be colder than any mass-produced cream by a long shot, I promise. The scent is, well, meh (though you could ratchet down the menthol a bit to add a custom scent -- Jean is great to work with.

Over at The Shave Den Joanne will add Menthol to any of her creams for an "Iced" version which for a cooling sensation they are great, for the ultimate in face freezing her SubZero is a mint/menthol cream but you can also get it in Iced version that is with extra menthol which I highly recommend

I have to find a source of the Godrej. I have heard nothing but good things about it and it is fairly inexpensive.

If you look it up on Ebay, Reliance Services sells tubes out of Chicago for $1.99 each! They're only 70g, but still it's pretty good. Shipping was very fair as well.

Italian Palmolive is a nice mentholated cream. Most likely not as strong as other creams mentioned in the thread but nonetheless still a nice cooling effect.
