Storing used soaps?

OK, perhaps a sorta dumb question, but... curious to as how folks that switch out their soaps store the used soaps? I have one of the two soaps I have been using in an Old Spice mug and the other in a short dish. I'd like to swap out and try other soaps I have lined up, waiting to be used. Do you place them in small tupperware-like cases, or in small zip lock bags? Or ? Thanks in advance!!

I use the little tupperware cases and they work fine. Ziplock bags will work as well. They're both cheap and convenient, plus you can stash them away easily.

I have about 4-6 soaps open at any given time, mostly in wooden bowls. If they are hard soaps, I wouldn't worry about putting them in airtight unless its convenient. I do have rubber lids on some 1 cup Pyrex dishes that I use for samples, but thats more so because the lids came with the dish, not because I felt the need to have them on there.

Hmmm. I've got about 40 open soaps. They're in wooden bowls, metal tins, ZipLoc bags, plastic jars. It really doesn't seem to matter.

Thanks everyone for the responses, and for not smacking me on the forehead with a "you chowderhead!" for asking.

Yo, Chowderhead, I've been using plastic Petri dishes and making up an Avery stick on label, for my assorted soap samples and leftovers. Like this. I can lather from the dish or plop it into bottom of a mug. Also easy for traveling. Cheers!

 That looks great! I might have to get that a shot. Do you have a good source for the petri dishes?
