Speakeasy RIP

The safe bet would be Lagavulin 16 but it’s pricey. To dip your toes in I would get some or the other Islay Blend that don’t state a single distillery or age statement but is still a Single Malt.

Islay with few exceptions is about peat but how much you like you have to decide yourself.

Bruichladdich 10 would be an easy, Laphroig Quarter Cask a hard start :)

Independent bottlers will bring you expressions of the region for a good price.

Much obliged! Thank you for the recommendations sir! Picking up a bottle of Lagavulin 16 I’ll get to sample it this weekend, I’ll keep your additional recommendations in mind moving forward! 🥃🤙
I say Laphroig is a good choice. Besides when you buy a bottle you become a landowner...
Cheers mate! Thank you for the recommendation! It’s on my list for sure! 🥃🤙

Thank you sir! We’ll see how I get along with the Ten, might have to add the Uigeadail to the list! 🥃🤙
I dismissed Ardbeg for like 10? years as I found their marketing pushy and overhyped. Now I have tried in rather short time a good chunk of their portfolio (An Noa, 5y, 10y, Corryvreckan and Uigeadail) and have to concede that the offerings are very decent.

Personally the Uigeadail is my favorite :)
