Finally pulled the trigger on an Artist Club SS after seeing it an an insane price ($80AU) on Amazon. So far so good, only one nick and a CCS++/DFS- shave from the first go.
Not completely sold on the ProGuard though, found it slightly tuggy but am putting that down to poor technique with the SS.

Razor : Yaqi TFC adjustable- excellent adjustable, I get excellent shaves with TFC on (3,3,3.5), great design after the 1930's Gibbs razor, takes regular blades unlike the Gibbs adjustable. Well built, affordable and happy with this purchase.
Blade : Personna red(1) excellent blade, sharp & smooth with great longevity.
Soap : Razorock Amici, nice grapefruit scent with excellent lather qualities.(Discontinued ?)
Brush : Yaqi 24mm orbital ring boar bristle, excellent lather generator, soft split end boar bristle, great scrubber + great painter.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Razorock Amici with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless)
Results :CCS,DFS,BBs + no irritation + no weepers=Excellent shave with my Yaqi TFC adjustable + a Personna Red blade.

Comments	70th shave with the Ethos Lavender. The brush today is my Rooney 1/3 – one of the few fan brushes I own. Not too many days left of the soap. I changed razors and decided to use my ATT S-1 with a new Personna Med Prep blade. This is my favorite slant razor and paired with a Personna Med Prep blade it excels. My usual four-pass shave resulted in a BBS shave with little effort. This is one smooth razor that works great for me with my wiry beard and thin skin. Have a great day, folks.

I can't keep my hands off my face this morning. My typical aim is for a Damn Fine Shave, but BBS are always welcome.
This blade and razor combo is so smooth and effective - it catches me off guard when I lose my audible cue
