Comments	Second shave with the UK Aristocrat and Wizamet blade and another good shave. Today’s brush is the Omega EVO. This is one dense brush that feels fantastic on my face and head. The brush had an easy time making some nice, rich lather. Today is the 45th shave with the MdC soap and as the photo shows, there are plenty of shaves left in it. A nice, BBS shave. This soap & the matching splash scent is very good. The lather whip-up by the awesomely soft badger is absolutely creamy and slick...For the past few days, all my razors are stropped on the Kangaroo leather and today's shave with this razor was very nice...2 smooth and keen passes for a bbs-dfs finish...

Hello friends!

To honor this week's SOTD theme I've chosen the only sample I have, which I received from Pasteur many months ago. The soap is from Hendrix Classics and its name is Bond, James Bond. 007 has a license to kill my 2-day beard. Although not tallowate it easily builds lather and provides good protection. I used my Connaught Omega Jade brush which is the color of the 1962 Jaguar E-Type British Racing Green used by David Niven in the original Casino Royale. Merkur Progress (5/4/3) Astra Green (3) and Alpa Windsor were killers.

To accompany us in this unforgettable moment, Dame Shirley Bassey sings Goldfinger.

Cracking shave, shifted on to the alt Wizamets I picked up (Zyletek not noted on the pack), there was no real intent in my selection I just felt like trying some random blades. Haven't looked into the differences and at this point I don't care, the shave was incredibly smooth. I had to check that I'd actually loaded one, I do hope I don't end up preferring these to my standard GSBs as I'm fairly well stocked on that side!

Razor : Razorock 2nd Generation Lupo.72- Mfg Jan 2021>, mid range, excellent machining and finish QC for my shaving needs, easy to work under the nose with this design, excellent blade clamping design. Had a enjoyable shave this morning.
Blade : Gillette Perma-sharp(3) sharp & smooth with great longevity.
Soap : Ogallala Bayrum & sandalwood, nice Bayrum with some sandal wood scent, with excellent lather qualities.
Brush : Yaqi "Lucky dice" 26mm tuxedo knot, excellent lather generator, cloud like soft tips, nice splay scrubber + excellent lather painter.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Witch hazel for beard cleanse, Ogallala Bayrum & sandal wood + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results :CCS,DFS,BBs + no irritation + no weepers= Excellent shave with my RR Lupo.72 with a Perma-sharp blade.

First time trying ZM's vegan base and was at least as good as their tallow base, perhaps even better. Very slick, protective and moisturizing. It was also the first time using CeraVe as the final moisturizer in the ol' routine. Thought it would be too heavy, but it absorbs quickly and did not leave my skin feeling sticky.
