Can anyone tell me if Simpson Chubby 1 and 2 in Super are floppy?

Absolutely not. I am yet to find any Simpson’s brush that is floppy (I’ve owned used >20), but certainly the Chubbies are on the opposite end of the spectrum. Dense, compact, and oh so flexible and gentle with a nice scrub

If you face lather, I don’t think you can beat a Chubby 1 or 2 in Super. Buy with confidence

What he said. there is no such thing as a 'floppy' Chubby. Some have had issues with a Simpson's brush being a shedder but I have not heard one complaint of a Chubby being floppy.

The Chubby 2 is a very large brush, as others have said. It is extremely densely packed, which also makes it fill substantial. I have one in Super. I personally think the Chubby brushes are great in Super—lots of backbone with soft tips. I also have a Chubby 1 in Super.

+1! I have a chubby 1 in best and that is plenty large for me!

In terms of Simpsons best vs. super, best has more variation with some specimens closer to ‘pure’ and others overlapping ‘super.’ My Simpsons super specimens have been far more consistent!
