Sorry to hear about the weepers... wondering if due to an ABS razor too much pressure and a blade getting duller??

That's a great image! Thank you, I am honored.Probably too much pressure. Whether from lightness of the razor, dullness of the blade, the soap having so much cushion, or a combination of all those.

I have had good success with Shark Super Stainless and Platinum. I feel like the Shark Platinum shaves very much like the Lord Platinum so I bought a 100 Shark SS and 100 Lord Platinum. Amazon has both for $7 per 100. It's hard to beat that price.

Great blade stash! Do you find the Super Stainless and Lord Platinums pair with different razors?
I really don't find that to be the case. I just used a Shark Super Stainless this morning in my Winning razor with a sample of Murphy and McNeil Barbershop De Los Muertos and it was a great shave. The Winning razor has become my daily razor because it shaves so closely and comfortably. Occasionally I use my Wolfman but due to it's efficiency I am more likely to experience minor irritation. My other razors just aren't seeing much use lately.

I had a really great shave today with a Shark Super Stainless blade (3) in my Wolfman razor. These are some smooth blades.

Shark Super Chrome first use in new Yaqi slant. This razor is unforgiving, it bit me a few times, but strangely no irritation. Only needed two passes.

No irrigation is a good sign! Tame the Yaqi!
I got bit with a Shark Chrome in my Timeless .68 SB razor which is a mild razor. Perhaps those Chromes mellow out with more uses but I don't trust them.
Second shave with this pair. You're right, @South Dakota Guy, the chrome did mellow out. I only got bit once this time. Nice 2 pass DFS.

Don't have any issues with Chromes on first use. They do however get smoother in the second use. YMMV
