Problem with Jeremyn street SC

Well well what the hell!
I can NOT lather my new Jeremyn street cream!
I m a wet shaver for loooooong time and I used up many creams and soaps.
I tried , face and bowl lathering, I just got a flat paste...adding water did not help, loading more neither...
Am I the only one?
The reviews are all positives!
What s wrong?

I have that tobs cream along with others, no problems with lather. My first thoughts are you have a bad tub. I would contact whoever you purchased from & get a replacement. There has to be something wrong with the tub you purchased.

Huh? Unable to lather a TOBS cream? That's like saying ice is hot.

Something must be seriously wrong with your tub.

Hard water perhaps? I have some Jermyn St cream, and it completely dies on me if I use water straight out the tap, if I filter the water though, it's silly easy to lather.

May I ask where you purchased this? I just used it to shave & had enough lather in a small brush for 3 passes. If you use e bay I suggest shavetools.he also has a website shavetools.com. west coast shaving, classic shaving are all good company's.

I bought this in a Brick and Mortar shop 25 miles from my place.....

I ll see what to do .....

Except for 25 mile drive , you should be ok. Let us know how it turns out please. If your store doesn't do anything , let me know as I know someone in the London store. I will put you in touch, they will take care of you. Good luck. Grayson

I've never had a problem with ToOBS. I got a Jeremyn St for Christmas, have not used it yet.

I have read on this forum that 5 - 10 seconds in the microwave may help. I have not tried this thought.

I agree with the comments above.
