I love my Bacon with Limes. I love both alone. But I do not like Bacon on my face.

Yates mixed metal 921. It’s the brass hybrid plate. Today just used the OC for a close, overall comfortable shave with a fresh Bolzano. This OC is quite smooth with only gentle blade feel. Managed to come out with just a couple minor weepers under my chin where I’m currently experimenting with my ATG technique. I’m impressed with the Yates open comb. From what I’ve read the efficiency of this brass HYB plate is between M and H.

I love the shape/form of that razor my friend.

Also: I've always been intrigued by your profile picture!

Tonight’s luxury shave
MMOC
Personna GEM PTFE (1)
Damp washcloth aka “shave binky”
Simpson Wee Scot 13mm badger brush
Pre-shave: no
Lather: Canada Shaving Soap, face-lathered
Aftershave: Ulm Nom
Post-shave: hot shower
Post-shave: Neutrogena Hydro Boost gel cream

Ever add a little too little water to your new favorite soap? The shave was close, quick, and mostly comfortable. First use of a GEM blade after too long and on a not wet enough lather. So much closer than I deserved in the time spent. I’m spoiled. And next time will only be gooder.

Where’s @Rhody and the 0.72OC side of his RazoRock Lupo DC?

This is post #2 of a threefer; Micromatic Monday, OCtober, and the October GRUME. I had a great shave with my Micromatic Open Comb (thanks again @Tanuki!). Mike’s Natural Soap again, and my usual badger in an Ever-Ready 200 handle. The RIGS Shim {tm}* tamed the MMOC beast and I got a quick DFS without any irritation. Yesterday’s weeper was staring at me and threatening to appear, but it stayed subdued.
