I would have loved to see the original handle and FAILED to recognize the razor at first sight. I know you like your custom handles, this one just happens to have a fairly nice one by default. But maybe there will be some more Vectors in NOCvember.

I agree, the original Vector handle is beautiful. Too long, skinny, and heavy for my taste. I have thought of cutting the end off and drilling it out. I don't much care for the Blackbird handle either, wish Shane would just sell the head assembly like Wolfman and many others do.

The Post Office said two weeks on your handle, so probably next Tuesday... What is your take on the scent of Puros? I can send you the tub I have, just to get it out of the house... Got a big thumbs down from the entire family. I love the aroma of curing Tabaco, but Puros is something else.

NOCvember shave number four.​

Another great shave this morning. Gillette Flat Bottom Tech, Gillette 7 O’clock Yellow on its sixth shave, Nivea Sensitive Shaving Cream whipped into a beautiful lather in my Captains Choice Copper Lather Bowl by my Semogue Heriditas Boar brush. A great start to a Saturday morning.

This razor was an unsolicited gift from @Guido75 who had noticed I was interested in a flat bottom tech from reading my Journal. Thank you kind sir! Then @gpjoe offered it a free room at his Signature Kellogg-Style Spa Restoration and Replating Retreat.

It came back looking 60 years younger! So shiny and smooth, what he achieved was sort of miraculous! I like to think of this Tech as my B&B Community Razor and what better way to kick off NOCvember?

NOCvember shave 3 - I'll inject hearty thanks to @Sinnbad11 !!

Mongoose made a Mingoose or two, Sinnbad11 grabbed one, then gifted it to me!

I have been feeding the Goose Schick B blades ever since and it lays golden shaves. The B blades are made for hair shapers, but they are my perfect match for the Mingoose.

Mongoose matched this razor with a superbly crafted, but hefty, handle. I saved 24 grams of heavy lifting by swapping in a @Rosseforp custom tonight.

I have seen this soap called Mongo many times on B&B. Tonight that is its thematic moniker. The Duke 1 is the opposite of mongo, but for such a petite knot it is able to squirrel away a lot of lather. Any reasonably dense badger knot hogs more lather for itself than I use for my shave.

Pinaud Brandy Spice topped off a top notch NOC shave.
