November 3 rd, Fatip Piccolo Special Edition Gentile closed comb razor/ Australian Gillette Spoilers

A Soviet homage to the Gillette Aristocrat adjustable. I say homage because this thing is quite aggressive. The blade exposure reveal is quite alot bigger than on my SA 109. The gap seems higher on each setting as well.
Because of the extra reveal there is some chatter. This razor is alot more aggressive, but if one keeps his focus the shave is excellent.

The bush of badger hair is from Yaqi, used Lea sensitive cream, Gillette platinum and Proraso as to finish.

That was a fun shave, but I'm feeling more stubble this morning than I expected. Must be the blade. I think I'll try a Pink Kai Protouch MG next shave.

The Shavemac 22/50 is getting softer, but still has a ton of backbone. I seem to remember my PJ2 had the backbone of a tree stump and has turned into a real creampuff. I'm hoping with more use, the Shavemac will soften up a bit too.

I'm planning on 3017 this tub of AdP, so I can break out the new tub I just got. Life is short, use the good stuff.

Razor: Baili BT131 on custom olive wood handle
Blade: Baili Platinum Super Stainless (2)
ASL: LEA Classic

An excellent shave.

My new Baili BT131 strikes me as possibly being quite aggressive (unlike the Tech that it's based on). That's a good thing because it made me lighten up my pressure (I'm always sure that I'm using zero pressure till I get one of these hints that I ain't ). On shave number two I'm even more impressed by the BT131. :w00t:

Out of interest, I checked a few websites for Baili DE blades. All of them cost (even) more than King C. Gillettes! :eek6:

Happy shaves guys. :cornut:
