What's new

New to DE shaving and will be vintage only. My 3 razor finds this week.

After watching a mantic59 video last weekend I decided DE shaving was for me. I loved the idea of vintage razors. I guess bringing things back to life got to me. These are the start of my collection.

First - would be my 1963 Gillette Tech Ballend (before and after)

Second - 1960 Gillette Fatboy SS Adjustable (before and after)

Third - my favorite 1969 Gillette Super Adjustable "super109" black handle (before and after)

Welcome to the B&B sir, I think you will enjoy your time here. It looks like you have a great start on collecting, keep up the good work!

Good finds. My first was also a ball-end Tech, a little different from yours, a '57. Then a member here offered me a '67 M2 Slim, from my birth quarter, and it's magnificent. Love that thing. Later this week I'll be receiving a '59 Fat Boy from another member in a trade, and I'm probably more excited than I should be. Welcome to the B&B and enjoy the vintage experience.

They look great, great finds. I'm always amazed at how well these old razors clean up. Be careful of getting hooked, major RAD! My first few times out I had great luck but lately things have been dry out in the wild. I have found myself starting to look at the BST and then staying up late on eBay. All I need is one more razor...or two..or
By the way the folks on here are nothing but enablers!
Welcome aboard.

Thanks guys, we done one here seems great. I can't believe how fast I got hooked on to collecting. My next find will be a birth year "81" Super Adjustable. I don't favor the plastic bottom plate but it will be fun to add it to my lineup.

Hey! Back off! :biggrin1:

J/K, unless you're after a 1st quarter, then I'm serious.... (sort of)

Welcome and enjoy all of it!
