What's new

New Prairie Creations w/ lanolin

Wow this stuff is serious soap. It lathers up there with Tabac & Arko, incredibly slick & cushioning. Plus it has sheep juice, look out wool fat.

I have the Dragons Blood scent & i like it. Im not good at scents but its definately got patchouli maybe sandlewood with a kinda orangy spice note too it.

Scent is scent & Krissy has alot to choose from. However, this soap is the business.

Before you get too excited, you may want to do some research around here. Krissy had been a vendor-member and ended up banned for various customer service problems.

What does that have to do with the OP's satisfaction with the soap?

I've had very good results with Old Spice scent & it smells very close to the new Old Spice Classic from P&G. If qualtity & availability remain consistant, I'll probably keep it in the rotation.

Possibly nothing. However, it may also generate the same over-hype as previous posts did and which resulted in a number of members being unhappy when product was not delivered in a timely manner (if at all) and refunds, once requested after much patience, were also not made in a timely manner. Hence the banhammer.

That sums it up. Thanks Rich.

I have found the original soaps to be not worth buying. I cannot lather mine for any amount of effort.

Maybe the lanolin version is better....but for me it is,

Buyer beware.

All I am trying to do is share my experience with a quality shave product on a shave forum.

I have used this soap for a week exclusively. It is a great performer, excellent cushioning lather & the lanolin is doing it what it is good at, skin conditioning.

I'm thinking a venture out with the Old Spice version might be fun. I've been watching the saga of Prairie Creations soap since it burst on the scene a few weeks ago. Seems like generally it gets positive reviews, along with it's share of not so happy shavers, but that's routine with most products we see used. It might be time for me to check it out in person.

The new Prairie Creations with lanolin is doing it for me. It has the better of MWF by quite a margin. That is not said without a boat load of truth as I have strong allegiance to wool fat as not only is it a good shave soap, I was born within spitting distance of where it is made.
