I do live it up! Everyday can be wash day instead of Saturday. I chalk my humbleness up to the wifey. If I was allowed both a shower and a KBG Grande, I'd be insufferable.

I had a nice shave, all things considered. I'm recovering from being sick. I've spent the past few days sleeping. I'm feeling much better now. It's been well over five years since I've had any kind of illness. Anyway, it's a sure way to lose a few extra pounds. I hope I can keep them off.

I'm continuing with my Lo Storto Gentile, Big Ben Super Stainless, Trafalgar T3, Stirling Dreamsickle soap, and Stirling Dreamsickle splash to top it off. One might think I'm a minimalist. I certainly do. I have it narrowed down to this kit when using it.

My shave was really good. The Big Ben Super Stainless has smoothed out nicely. I'll keep using it for the foreseeable future.

I had a very good shave on day eight with this blade. I haven't flipped it or done anything. Once it is in it's good to go until I'm done with it. I'm thinking I need to switch up to my new favorite razor and blade, to be determined.

My shave was quite good using my Vintage 1980s Fatip. It was very close. There is a lot more audio feedback than with mk2 Fatips. Even with mk1 Fatips. It has a thinner head than either. It feels closer to early Gillette razors even though the head is not that thin. Blade feel is not that hard to maintain. There is a lot of it. It is also very smooth. Where the mk2 beats it is in blade rigidity, hence the increased audio feedback with the vintage Fatip. Overall this is a great razor, perhaps my favorite. Barrister and Mann Cheshire soap and splash is fantastic! It's a hidden gem in my soap collection. It's like bathing in Earl Grey tea!

No, not this time. I have though! Klompendansen is taught in my hometown to teenagers that want to learn. It was a great place to meet girls, and it's an ongoing recruitment tactic used for the town's annual Tulip Parade.

Side note: My friend Paul Visscher used to make wooden shoes for tourists. He'd make us beach clogs by cutting off the back so you could slip your feet in like flip-flops. I painted mine paisley with acrylic paint. They worked great on beach sand.

It is all coming back to me about my Vintage 1980s Fatip. It snags hair on my circle beard and pulls them out. It's a neat razor to have in my collection, as it is virtually unattainable. It shaves well in wide-open spaces, but I'll be happy once this shave week is over. I don't see any Fatip Woods in this year's OCtober. I think I might break one out next week.
