I want to love Fatip. Theoretically it's a razor that should be ideal for me based on prior talks with Esox. But the two (one was a Schone) I had were duds and given away. It's a razor that I'll have to revisit sometime.
If the first shave is anything to go by, you can add me to the Fatip lovers crew. That is the single best shave I've had since I have started using a DE.
Me!!
And I've choosed the underrated Retro model!
Although most people complain about the handle being too narrow and long, I managed to master the use that today I can always shave comfortably, efficiently and without irritation.
Here is my "Alfa Romeo" with the gunmetal coating already very worned... but still shaving flawlessly!
I loved this model so much that I've purchased another one (nickel), but still ununsed in the box!
I've tried everything, new, vintage, cheap, expensive. Feather popular/asd2 and fatip grande either OC or gentile were my top razors. I just bought a chrome retro, I think I like the longer handle. Going from a popular to fatip requires some re learning tho.
