It was the Madness, I tell ya!
Newminster 400 in the inaugural smoke for a pipe I totally forgot I had. It was a gift from my uncle who found it unsmoked among his grandfather's things. It's pretty large so not the best clenched but it smokes great and the carving is excellent! Horray for surprise Meerschaum!
To borrow a term coined by a former Brown Leaf brother...it's the Meerluminum Falcon!
Only one Meer up on MMM day 7, the no name lattice apple, WC Simply Orange in the bowl.
IMP with Carter Hall this evening. Weller Antique 107 on the side.
I don't think we're going to come anywhere close to beating the 27 meer acquisitions from 2017, but this is the strongest start to March Madness ever since!

Today's Meers on MMM Day 10: the Fal/Meer w/C&D The Beast; the 2015 PSF Altinok POY w/Father Dempsey. The previous two days it was the same Altinok with tobacco I don't remember, which has more to do with the state of my memory than the particular tobacco.
The spoils of March meerschaum madness...I went a little overboard with the madness lol. One seller included a neat latticed meer tamper and three acrylic pipe stands. The other included a pack of pipe cleaners.
I need to participate for at least one day. Some nine year old C&D Joie de Vivre in a generic colored meer.
She's come a long way since her first appearance in this thread on 3/2/17.

Thanks! Took a long time narrowing it down to this one. It seems inordinately light, too, which I'm hoping is a good indicator of porosity - and thus, coloring potential.
