I Was About to Decide It Was Impossible.

I began reading here a while back, and saw people reporting a BBS shave with no stinging when they applied the aftershave.

I had about come to the conclusion that it was something I would never achieve.

I am not there yet, but have come mighty close twice this week.

This morning there was just a little tingling and very mild stinging in a few spots, and the shave?

BBS all the way.

I credit two things:

1. My technique is improving

2. The Merkur 37C Slant

It's funny how my technique seemed to get better when I got the slant.

I may have found "my" razor.

Yeah, I wouldn't say it is impossible. I do 2+ passes with some repeats and overlap in places as I go along. The second pass is ATG on the face. No sting. But I know I'm not BBS, and definitely not on the neck. I'm not trying for BBS so I'll never know, but I think it's possible for some to do it with no sting from ASL.
