House brand "made in Israel"

To my astonishment, I saw real razor blades in a local supermarket sold under their no-name brand, and they turned out to be made in Israel. I'm going to drop them an e-mail, but I doubt they'll know many details.

Is this probably an inferior type of blades, or would it make sense to assume they're the real stuff?

Was it Asda? The wiki page for the UK says that their house brand are Israeli Personnas. I'm not sure if that means the red pack or the crystals (blue), though.

Probably Israeli Personnas made by ASR.

No, wasn't Asda (but good to know....) I saw it last week in Switzerland in a "Migros" supermarket.

It's sold under many supermarket/store own brands such as Tesco/ASDA in the UK, Mercadona in Spain, HEMA in The Netherlands and Continente/Via Men in Portugal.
I like these blades a lot. Sharp enough and very, very forgiving. As always, YMMV.

Boots also sell them as their own brand. They are really good blades.

I've bought store brand (Navarro) Israeli blades here in the States and they turned out to be the (in)famous "IP" blue and white packaging blades. Good quality and they work for me, if you try them you might like them.

CVS has a house branded Made in Israel blade. Personna Reds maybe? On my first one, have only used it a couple of times, but seems solid.
