Hone favor

Hello,

My dad just gifted me a dovo straight razor and he gave me a strop as well.. He said that it doesnt shave that closeandhe prefers his DE's. He purchased it new and did not get it honed. My guess is if it gets honed by someone that knows what they are doing it will be a good first straight for me. I have seen several kind b&b members offer to hone and i was wonderingif i can take anyone up on this? I would greatly appreciate any help. Please pm me and i will of course take care of shipping bothways. Thank you!

Sure, I can do it. I don't have anything of my own to hone since I have been shaving with the same razor.

Performance anxiety?

Although if you run it through the Jnat you might spoil the owner forever. Kinda like learning to drive in a BMW 7 Series and then getting a clapped out compact as the daily driver

Otherwise you might find a very bad deformity which makes that razor very harmful for human use.
