Got my Orient

I just received my Orient Mako. I need to adjust the bracelet and have noticed unlike some of my other timepieces that the bracelet has screw links. As I understand, I am unable to use the standard tool used for many link removals.

I have tried to search amazon for a small flat head but do not want to by a huge kit. Is there another place online to purchase this type of tool or should I just buckle down and spend the ~12 bucks and get a tool set? Thanks for your help.

I have found having a small set of jewelers screw drivers around is very handy for other things as well, such as screws in eye glasses.

Those aren't screws, they're split pins. Use that tool you have and push the pins out in the direction of the arrows on the underside of the links.

Thanks for the help. I realize that now. Thanks for the info and help.

I have a Mako as well. I very carefully used a tack to push the pins out of the links, then grabbed them and pulled them out the rest of the way with a pair of needle nosed pliers.
