Results: Manaslu's turn today and about time too since her last debut eons ago. I touched her up on the Asagi/Kiita last night and she was ready to deliver on demand

. All the Japanese western style straights that I own or have had the pleasure of shaving with have consistently been top performers in my book. As far as the lather was concerned, the Trumper's Violet/Rose übercombo was sensational

. The intoxicating floral scent encapsulated the shave den...I had to fight my wife out of the den so I could begin my zen like shave

. The shave was phenomenal in every regard . Finished things up with a little mix of Trumper's Moisturizer and Alt Innsbruck...What a feeling; BBS and irritation free

. Now, I am off working on a couple of projects, a grant and a provisional patent application. Hmmmm...Who'd have thought that being out of work would actually end up being busier and more rewarding!!?? Deadlines still looming and my wife's never seen me happier. Go figure. Either I am back asswards or the world works in strange ways.

Razor: Gillette Fusion (I am still waiting for my mekur to arrive, so please forgive me)
Brush: VDH deluxe (something simple to get me started)
Cream: Real Shaving Co. Moisturizing Cream (very nice, but my first attempt at lather was too wet, round two was much better)
AS: Aqua Velva Classic (who knew that this is good stuff)
Lotion: Everyman Jack.

Four leisurely passes w/ no touch-up. BBS ! Really love the scent of the Marlborough Cream. The EJ is a bit mild for my tastes, but a beautiful razor all the same. I may give this one to my older son.
